You can apply this to half of forum posters with 2k+ posts complaining about a game they barely play, all they do is post post post.
Maybe read the stuff I write before replying. I talked about the rogue who was mad about bad players getting loot in normal raids but somehow its fine that bad players in a gdkp get loot. Some people make no sense and that one clearly does not. Only cause that bad person has gold does not make them deserve the loot more over a player who gets a sr item or whatever lootsystem they follow with.

GDKPs are like metastatic cancer. If you let the original ailment go on long enough they’re an inevitability.

Yeah someone 5 level below the raid level but with many gold deserves more loot than a level 70 with bad dps and no gold. It’s really an easy answer honestly

There’s just no solution to that. If GDKP was eliminated, there’d just be other forms of gold carries. Retail guilds make a lot of gold by selling heroic runs.
The auction house encourages RMT too, if you buy stuff off the ah you’re part of the AH problem.
Blizzard won’t perma-ban cheaters because they would lose over 2/3 their subscribers, so the game has become a viscous cycle of cheat-to-win for most. The entire situation is just sad/pathetic & the golden age of MMORPG’s & their communities has long since passed.

I think GPKDs are a necessary evil. Who’s going to run old raids? You have a new player coming in, how are they going to get geared?
Let’s stop talking about rogues. If I swipe my cc hard enough I can get glaives on my mage just for strutting around shatt. Can I get it for free in your guild?
New players forking out 100k gold… yep didn’t buy it at all, lol.
On the other hand new player forking out hundreds of gold for near BiS items, which is the far far far more common occurrence, yes didn’t buy it.
