Insane cost of enchanting

Enchanting is not making any sense right now. It would cost me 900k to level it from 80 to 100 with Sophic Devotion, and potentially over 1 million gold as the recipe will get green on the last levels.

I don’t see the cost/opportunity there. A R3 Sophic Devotion is selling for 100k in my realm, but I doubt many people are forking over that kind of money right now.

The drop rate of Resonant Crystals and the Orbs is extremely low considering how many of these you have to craft not only to level, but to manage R3.

It’s about the same on my server. you might get back half the gold selling the rank 2 enchants but only if you’ve got the skill points to guarantee them. Im around 27% inspiration and need 12 more skill points for rank 2 so I won’t try until then so I can proc some rank 3s and hopefully get more gold back.
