Inquisitor's Gaze Rework

If Inquisitor’s Gaze is going to remain a passive talent, will you please change it to just have the eye out all the time like it used to be, and just make it do less damage? I feel that most players would prefer consistency from a passive capstone talent than wild RNG.

Looking at our last raid’s logs, there was a 6M difference in damage from Fel Barrage between our two Warlocks, with 2.6M of that coming from a single 6-minute pull where one Warlock had it proc 13 times and the other had it proc 6 times.

I’d also suggest they rename it Observer’s Gaze and replace the eye with the Observer, because that demon look just too cool to be discarded.

Rework? No. Delete it.

The talent was basically a clone of Arcane Familiar, which was introduced in Legion and never saw any play. But it was actually worse because AF granted Arcane mana, which is a stat Arcane loves.

Right from the start they set themselves up for failure.

Then some numb-nuts at Blizzard decided to “improve” it by making it a proc-based spell. Yeah, a layer of RNG always fixes things right?
Cool so now your eye can proc at the end of combat, introducing the concept of down-time because it has spawned but you just got done killing everything. :expressionless: And due to internal CDs it probably wont spawn again for a while.

The “class” side of the Warlock talent tree is terrible. The only good thing we gained was Soul Burn. Inquisitors Gaze is the unripe Cherry atop the foul cake that is the Warlock talent tree.

How did we go from MoP; KJs Cunning, Mannoroths Fury, and Archimondes Darkness… to this…? We already had our capstones ready to go.

Agreed. Other than soulburn, our class talents suck cockatrice at the end rows. I do wish Soulburn could affext Unending breath so we can water walk again.

Anyone remember this?

We have Unending Breath, not only does it allow us to breathe underwater but it also increases swim speed. As it’s already instant cast, why would you need Soulburn for it?

Did you not read what i said? Soulburn used to affect unending breath by making it apply water walking.
