Input Lag since returning (Cant click buttons & everyone stands in place)

Hi all,

What im experiencing is maybe every 30 - 45 seconds, i can no longer click buttons (I play havoc DH) , they glow / light up and I can still move, but ill die to a swirlie since it seems that I cant avoid mechanics during that time (even though I can move on my screen)

Ive never had this issue, most recently played in DF Season 1, and returned for Season 4. Ever since I came back this has been happening, and its most obvious in dungeons/raids, however does happen in cities.

Ive tried disabling all addons and still see this issue. I really have no idea how to figure this out. No other game lags. So it’s a WoW problem. It’s kind of suffocating to play like this as I like to push high M+ keys and am currently trialing in a mythic raiding guild.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is not FPS lag, this is game lag. Ill move out of a swirlie and still die if I have the issue popup (usually lasts for 3-5 seconds)

You’ll want to collect a network test for troubleshooting.

I have a theory that its only a lgethar academy that im lagging in after a few tests this morning.

According to that data, your ping is about 10ms and at worst 17ms.

If you’re lagging every few seconds, it’s probably something happening on the computer using resources, or even overheating.

Check your temperatures with HWMonitor, check that your drives have enough space for pagefiles (15%+), check RAM usage.

You can also look at the MSInfo or DxDiag after you export them for more clues.

Temperatures are good.

I had like 95% of memory usage (50gb remaining out of 1,000) I freed up 300gb more from uinstalling various other games. Do you think that could help? Will be testing over the next few days.

What are page files?

Pagefiles are the space on a hard drive where things you don’t need immediately are stored. This is why you need to keep 15-20% free space on all drives in your system. The 300gb cleanup will probably help.
