This started occurring last night, everything was fine in the morning but when I logged in after work this started - so nothing has changed on my end.
When I press a key they sometimes do not register at all, other times they register late and sometimes they register 5-10x as many presses as I do.
This started occurring during a boss, but I’ve been testing it with strafing in Boralus. Sometimes when I press a key I don’t strafe, sometimes I go very far off in one direction and often I don’t start strafing until long after I pressed the key.
This is also occurring when typing to people - I will type an entire message and it will slowly appear, one key at a time many seconds later than I pressed them. I can take my hands off the keyboard and have my 10+ second old message slowly type itself out in front of me.
I have tested this with limitd addons and with no addons, the issue occurs in all instances.
I’ve tried basically everything except reinstalling wow, including:
Checking/updating drivers
Unplugging/replugging keyboard
Deleting/reinstalling keyboard
Restarting wow
Restarting computer
Checked stickykeys/filter keys
to name a few.

Is this happening in other applications/games as well? What keyboard are you using?
Try resetting the user interface which will set everything to default and remove any addons if you have any installed. Test it out and see if the issue persists.
There may also be an issue with some specific background process interfering between the keyboard input and the game. You could try disabling startup items to see if it might be something starting up in the background causing it.
Disabling startup problems has solved the issue, disabling addons and uninstalling twitch didn’t change anything. I’ll post here again if the problem comes back.

Fumeiyo, I’m experiencing the same exact thing. I get keyboard lag, typing messages, and then movement delay and what I call “run on” literally use “w” key to move forward and it just takes off and runs forever, I can alter movement with mouse movement, but when I stop with mouse it keeps running until like whenever it feels like stopping. It does get worse when there are a large group of folks in the area. It is “lag” like but my numbers for world lag and what not are just fine. I tried the startup stuff, but I see you mention “startup problems”. what exactly were your “startup problems” I’ve disabled most stuff, but not all. Anyway just curious if there was a specific program or app that you disabled to fix your issues. Thanks for any info you can provide.
