The only law prohibiting people from getting evidence is the California 2 party consent law in which you would have to get both parties consent to record the act. But you are acting like some private area at a con has a certain law that phones arent allowed there. Its just a rule of that con, and in case you havent noticed, rules can be broken.
Im trying to say that you are scum. You dont want the victims to have video evidence that they could show to both the public and the courts, though in California they would be thrown out of court for being illegally obtained (what a great progressive state that bars victims from obtaining evidence) and that person could also be charged criminally and serve time, but pay a 2500 dollar fine, and 5000 dollars or more damages to the party or parties that you recorded.
Actual lawyers are already poking holes in a lot of the things in the suit. All the stuff on twitter is just PR stuff that you should never do unless you go on the offensive. I cant believe Blizzard hasnt learned from any of the PR stuff from other companies or people. You just dont do it because it does no good.
