Ink Trading for Inscription

I appreciate the fact that Blizzard has made a way for people to get inks of previous xpacs a little more easily then leveling another alt. However, the fact that only one kind of ink can be used for trading is perplexing to me.

There are a couple solutions:

  1. At least allow current green inks to be used for trading for past green inks. Right now, only Umbrals can be used for all rarities. This creates a bit of imbalance economically, as you get a tremendous amount of green pigments from Nightshades, but they seem to not be as in demand because only top tier recipes use a single one. Being able to use them for older greens would be a step in the right direction. Being able to trade a green for a small x amount of another ink would be better, e.g. 1 Tranquil for x3 Umbrals from the ink trader.

  2. Simply allow trading of all/any inks in current Xpac in for a generic currency which can be used to purchase past inks. Tranquil turn in gets you something like 10 credits. Umbrals and Luminous get you 1. Old greens cost 10 credits, old normal’s cost 1.

  3. some of the rare mills that are currently not tradeable need to be added in. Why is inferno ink not there? Little silly to have very few inks compared to whats in the game.

Thanks, realize I am slightly rehashing this from prior xpacs posts.

This is getting ridiculous. I have over 4k Tranquil Ink’s, with nothing of not to do with them. Blizzard please make the ink trader accept Tranquil Inks for other inks. Its getting ridiculous, do I just vendor them?
