Game had a minor update and is initializing at around .01 mb per second. Why is it so so so slow right now?

Same issue, has been initializing for 10 mins now and still not complete.

I was literally on 30 minutes ago.
I am having the same issue. I have tried closing bnet and update agent through task manager, but that did not resolve for me. SpeedTest has me at 1gb/s so def on bnet end. Would love to not spend my limited evening time on waiting for an update to download 
I’m missing raid.
can we try not having super slow and mandatory updates right around the time everyone logs on for raid? too much to ask?

Been at it since 8:53pm eastern and am at 21.55 out of 320
over 20min now not even half done. disk usage is almost 0%.

Did that multiple times. I just reset my computer and it made it through the initializing “download” and is now stuck on “initializing.”
But did you try holding a rubber chicken, spinning around 3 times, and praying to the unholy server gods?
this is happening to me too right now!
Resetting the computer and then just waiting for 5ish minutes to “initialize” seems to have fixed it.
Mine is still super slow. now at about 30 minutes for a 300mb download.
Same problem here…
Mine’s still slow too. I paused, resumed, closed battlenet, reopened, closed battlenet and restarted my pc and it didnt help.

Any fix on this yet, it’s been like an hour and it’s annoying. Such an indie company with all that money they steal on a regular basis.

Same issue for me. Can’t login. Currently at around 6mb out of 294mb. Going insanely slow.

Been having the same issue. Went to uninstall and reinstall the battle net client and it won’t even install…
