Hello everyone, I’m trying to install DF but it is stuck on Initializing, it takes about 20 minutes to reach an error message until installation pause. I tried everything I found on forums, reddit and blizz support so I don’t know what to do

I want to take a look to this expansion since Blizzard send me an email with a 7 days trial but it is impossible for now, please help.

What works for me is close the BattleNet launcher, opening Task Manager, ending all BattleNet tasks (should just be ‘BattleNet’ and ‘BattleNet Update Agent’), then opening the launcher again. Might take a few tries but it gets me past initializing.
But I’m afraid that might be one of the fixes you’ve tried as it was one of the first fixes I found.
Thank you Anderic, I tried that solution but it didn’t work I tried to install Classic Wotlk and it works so I think it is a Retail issue.
