I feel completing 20s as a base will be quite obtainable for most of the key runners this season
After logging in and hopping straight into 13/14 at 443 bear, they felt pretty easy, in a few weeks time seeing the average being 2500 will be common imo.
They did this back in Legion → BFA. KSM used to be an achievement you had to grind for, then KSH became the new hotness for keys that the semi-hardcore groups wanted to get, and KSM was just something everyone that ran keys had.
Now KSH is something everyone that runs keys has, there’s no achievement attached to getting a real rating anymore.
20’s are going to be the new 17s, and there’s still not going to be a key pushing achievement to go for that’s CE / Glad equiv.
Calling it now, unless something wild happens, we’re going to see 25-27 range keys as the “semi-hardcore” range and 30-35 being the new meta.
I did wish 2000 was the appearance, 2500 was mount, 3k was a title a unique mount like how challenge Dungeons in MoP had, then 3500+ could be another title + 0.1%
Duno, I’m doing all 10-13’s first, then Ima push some more before Tuesday once I increase ilvl a little bit. Multi-chesting them all so far, so between the inevitable nerfs that always come I think these dungeons are completely doable. Guess we’ll see about 2500 being easy, gonna try for it for the first time since I’m not doing PVP anymore. We’ll see if my boomer self is up to it. lol
Having a great time so far with the exception of the maze in DotI. I don’t care if it’s insignificant or not, I think it’s a fun sucker. Can’t believe someone actually thought that would be a good and/or fun addition to the game.
I had some thoughts on Atal Dazar and Aug evoker: the totem boss was a bit of a struggle, as Aug can’t burn the totem down as fast as the other dps - obviously tank and healer can help, but in pugs you risk missing the boss interrupt, and it just feels awkward. The last boss also doesn’t seem evoker friendly due to the 25 yard range and baiting spiders, etc.
Did my first key this morning before work. Darkheart thicket felt really boring. I am hoping the other dungeons are better. Probably going on another break after KSM until fated/last M+ season is out.
I’ve heard mixed things about the split Mega Dungeon. My first key was a Murozond, but it was only a 7, so nothing too bad. My DHY went pretty smoothy. I’m nervous about my Galakrond which is a 12 or 13 (I forget which).
Outside of those, Thrones is brutal, especially the hall before the final boss.
Now that I’ve run them all, TotT and Dawn are the worst. Dawn has PAINFUL trash on both sides of the dungeon, while the bosses aren’t so bad.
I think Chronikar and Blight of Galakrond will be rough in Tyrannical, and Iridikron is just a DPS check.
Deios on Tyrannical will probably also be pretty brutal.
Throne can suck it, though. Ulthok is bad for my class, but Mindbender Ghur’sha was obliterating me by targeting only me with Flame Shock the entire fight.
Ozumat is super miserable, especially for melee, and it actually took us a couple tries to kill him with how much damage goes out, and how quickly the floor gets covered. Also, the final trash on the way to Ozumat is awful. It feels like the goblin packs take too many interrupts to handle, and you have to play with LoS shenanigans for them.
This one was hard for me. Do you have tips about it? The hallway before the last boss was a disaster for our group, I wish that increased shadow damage taken debuff didn’t exist. I also disliked being gripped from those big ugly mobs, no mob should ever move me, and I disliked the debuff that makes me absorb a lot of healing. But the bosses all seemed fine. Did you or anyone come across any sneaky things like a line of sight or spot to stand to avoid jumpers etc?
Mass Dispel or manually dispelling everyone one at a time with prio on highest stacks is how you control the debuff. Everything else you just need to literally raw heal through unfortunately.
