I don’t know, but I think we should make all new players feel welcome and not ask too many questions about where they come from,
Besides, I have found Asian players pretty smart and intelligent at gaming, find it very hard to take down an Asian player in a 1 vs 1, they are smart, quick, have good reflexes and very difficult to defeat,
So would want them on my side in a raid team

You’d be surprised by how many mainland Chinese have been playing on US/EU/AU servers over the years. I don’t just mean the botters/gold sellers.
Definitely was a lot on my EU WoTLK server. They had their own guild.

I was gonna say that…I have a char there. this would not be new there really.
Unlikely, they’d all need to start using VPNs and they’d need to all create new accounts. Then they’d need to deal with latency issues which I can’t imagine they’d enjoy.
Will a few players jump over? Probably, but not the majority.

I was surprised when I tried eu and the latency was as tolerable as it was. It just feels like theres that “downloading illegal music” but x10 cause its china sorta vibe to it. Some countries could go dark so quickly in the internet era but ha if you see 99% of what goes on anywhere

They’ve already been playing on servers like Illidan for a pretty long time now

No you can’t have any.
No one enjoys latency issues but Australians put up with it for many years until the servers were moved to Sydney from LA. China is closer to Australia than the US and the time zones are either the same or close to it.

Pretty much any serious Chinese gamer is using a booster for a better ping.
They have 3 really popular ones that will get you a decent ping from China to US/EU/AU.
You know how the west use game boosters to get a better ping? They do the same thing but with local companies. No need for a VPN.
