Why does this not work on our stag form?
You answered your own question. It’s a form. Not a mount.

Stag form, for all intensive purposes, is a mount. Let’s not argue semantics please.

Travel form is not and has never been a mount. It’s a form. It’s usable in combat. It has talents associated with it. Grow up.

I’m rather glad it’s not a mount. That would be a direct nerf.

If it were a mount it would have a cast time, be unusable in combat, would not have the wild charge jump and would require special buffs to herb while in stag form.
I have a land mount bound with the shoes incase I need to water walk for any reason.
We are FAR better off this way that in the inflatable shoes worked in stag.

Seems I’m in the minority here. = / I guess stag form does have perks that other mounts don’t have, so theres that. Still would be nice though

If you truly want to walk on water in travel form. Buy the fishing raft from the anglers.
You can cast It while running and run in and out of water for 10 minutes.
