Inflatable Mount Shoes

Is blizz going to force players to use new ones every expansion?

Example. When the new level cap is 130 you’ll have to buy Inflatable Mount Shoes that will work on the new level cap?

I assume its going to be that way

This change isnt about adding conveniences for the players. Its about disconnecting those convenienves from the mounts so they can be controlled.

I fully expect a “cant be used above level 120” tag added to the soon to be current equipment by the next patch and the new equipment held back behind later patches, rep gains or both.

I’d also assume were not likely to see barding or saddle consumables again going forward

This is the sort of tinfoil salt I live for.

It is amusing that people really think Blizzard development is out to get them and make their gaming experience suffer.

They are a company in the business of making money, nothing more, nothing less.

If they see a change in the game that will keep their customers " engaged " longer…bet your bottom dollar they will implement it.

Has zero to do with " the only metric we measure is that you are having fun "

If you think otherwise? you are delusional.

Something something malice something incompetence.

and probably disabled for portions of the expansions as well.

Its not about making people ‘suffer’ its about slowing down the players. And controlling how they play the game.

Blizzard cant outright remove water walking… The mount equipment gives tjem the tools they need to decide when they want us to have it.

I fully expect the new mount equipment to be useless in a new expansion. Andi t wouldnt suprise me if a new tier of equipment comes gated behind a rep or a patch… Or not at all.

Yeah. And they’ll hold it behind an achievement and release it on the X.2.0 patch.

I was expecting floating mount shoes

Nuts, she said politely. If they really wanted to control water walking, the mount equipment wouldn’t apply to every mount a given character has – you’d have to buy and apply it for each mount you might want to have the ability.

I’d be slightly less mad actually if my vulpine familiar, when equipped with inflatable mount shoes, got like water wings or ridiculous things like in the picture you posted… flopping around all clumsy and distressed.

Basically all of this.

I foresee mount equipment being added to Pathfinder.
