It just takes patience and persistence. Im just glad time walking is not on a weekly lockout lol. You can grind to your hearts content and we have 3 events back to back this time around.
Got mine a couple months back, after casually farming since it was put in the game. Usually got 10-15 dungeons done most timeawalking weeks, between my alts. I’m glad I got it, but a lot of the motivation to do timewalking was lost afterward. I know I can get decent end-of-season alt gear for doing five, but it seems like a lot of work for gear that is getting steamrolled next patch.

i got mine the very first TW dungeon on the very first day it was available…Now the love rocket on the other hand ive been chasing since it came out and still dont have it… Ahh the duality of RNG.
This is one of those mounts that has such a low drop rate that Blizzard has encouraged me to not even bother, after hundreds of runs and not even seeing anyone else get a drop, i just don’t see the point in throwing myself up against that kind of RNG.
In my opinion, no mounts should be lower than 1%, especially not ones that have limited periods of accessibility, they should be 5%.
Pretty sure I got mine during Cata running heroic dungeon trying to get the trinket.
I’m still mad that I got it. I spent a solid week trying to get the cursed thing, told my brother to take over as I had to run out to the shop for something, I came home to him “Hey I got this pretty cool dragon after the second run!” I stared at him for a minute and walked away in silent rage.
A good friend of mine was hunting TLPD back in the day, he had been awake for a couple of days and was convinced that it was due to spawn but he just couldn’t keep his eyes open anymore. I didn’t really want the mount, but i thought i’d go sit at his afk spot and watch a movie on my other monitor, it spawned right after he went to bed, i didn’t even get to finish the movie i was watching lol
When he found out the next day, he didn’t speak to me for a week, he didn’t blame me or anything, it just hurt a lot and he needed some time

I didn’t really start doing TW dungeons until last year, never paid attention to them so didn’t realize what they were, lol. Needless to say, no drop for me yet, maybe in the next few weeks when I level a few alts through them. We shall see…
Got mine a few years back. It actually dropped for a friend who had it so he gave it to me.

I think you’re going to find that most people are in the three to five THOUSAND range for when they got theirs. It basically doesn’t drop. EVER.
It’s one of those things you don’t even TRY to farm. You just casually run TW dungeons as you need them… and if it drops… it drops.
But actually TRYING to grind for it is, statistically, a waste of time.
Unless something changed (?) …
The mount eludes me. We got plenty of time to farm it this time. So many weeks of back to back TW Dungeons.

I got one a few months ago thinking it was a common drop. Didn’t know it was so rare.

I’ve given up on mounts like this because Blizzard has completely nerfed mount collecting. Starting in BfA Blizzard has dumped an obscene number of mounts in each xpac. BfA over a hundred, SL over two hundred, we’re currently over hundred for DF. You can pretty much hit the 500 achievement by just playing the last three xpacs.
I know someone that’s well over 300 of the last achievement (so 800+ mounts.) I’m 170 over the last achievement. So the point to my whining is, why worry about rare mounts when you don’t even need them for the achievement that gets an update every four years?
I’ll get the sandy ray, whatever it’s called, and if I get the ITR while I’m doing the achievement then great. If I don’t, also great. Don’t care anymore.
I remember getting mine back in BFA during Pandaria Timewalking. I dont remember the specific dungeon, but I was still newish to the game and my husband took me through some dungeons to get some gear. I got the mount off the first boss and I was like “oh I got a mount, thats cool, must be one of those 100% drop mounts you get just from killing the boss” My husband was like no theres no mounts in this dungeon
My husband didn’t talk to me for 3 days 
Tovi, if I could give you mine I would. I got it after disconnecting out of a dungeon and logging in the next day to find it sent to me via mail. I didn’t even complete the dungeon, the group just never kicked me. 
I think it’s a nice mount, but if I don’t have a transmog and race/class that I think would want to use it… I don’t end up caring about it and I don’t really care much about this one.
Anyways, if Blizzard makes a way to give mounts away, it’s all yours.

Because some people would rather have 1 really cool mount that looks good to them than 600 they don’t care about.
I don’t have it yet but it’s probably the one rare mount I want the most. It’s basically my white whale at this point.
