Doesn’t seem worth it, only works on single targets which there are very few where you dont have to switch targets on and in Mythic + it’s really not worth because you cant switch gear so you have to deal with the side effects through out the whole dungeon and it’s only useful on bosses that dont live long enough to see the full potential of it.
And to think i was excited to get it 
Infinite Trolls at it again.
Its only good for raiding or if you do not have other corruptions.
However I actually prefer infinite stars on my warlock over twilight devastation because at least infinite stars will always hit its target.
My hunters got the 50 corruption version of it, Free damage is free damage, especially free damage that in longer fights can stack up to doing some really silly damage.
It’s less effective on short fights, for sure though.

It depends on the encounter. It promotes using different gear for different bosses which imo is a good thing in a game like this.
Makes us think about our characters.
it’s only good on a few very specific single-target fights. The problem is people sim it against patchwerk type fights, where it will sim well.
then they go and wear it to a fight with adds.
IS is a bait corruption that looks really pretty on sims, but will almost always be beat in actual fights by other options. Outside of a few specific raid fights in Nya…that are all the easier ones anyways (Shad, Wrath, Maut if you like to live dangerously).
I like playing Russian Roulette on Maut with IS.
I’ve been using it everywhere on my Warlock since it dropped and it’s been doing a crap ton of damage to different targets in all different situations. I’m loving it. Was totally worth it to me considering how much damage it’s been doing. shrugs
Sure, and its nice in that its 1 corruption that gives you a boost.
But smaller corruption pieces would almost always give you a better dps output. They are just harder to get.
I have ISr3 equipped because I can’t get the better pieces.
Strikethrough, caster corruption axe, gushing wounds, etc

Infinite stars is a slot machine. It’s decent on DH as they have 100%+ haste and just proc stuff more often than other classes. For everyone else it’s pretty trash and you’d rather use Mind Flay on single target or TD on aoe/cleave. For destro lock you just want as much expedient as possible.
And yet it’s working great for me on my Destro Lock, thanks. I’m enjoying it and the damage output has been great. Procs all the time for me.
Yeah obviously it’s better than no corruption. But 75 corruption worth of expedient would do far more damage.
If it was an option, maybe. But you let me know when we can pick and choose our corruptions.
I have an alt with just the mid-tier version and every once in a while I’ll be fighting an elite and it will just suddenly melt away and I’ll have a “wait, what just happened?” moment.
I pick and choose them before every activity I do. Corrupted gear is vomited at you in the game currently. I have 50+ options in my bags and another 25+ in my bank. And the sets change every week with the endless +3 corruption resist. I have a set of corruption ready for 3 weeks from now when I get 9 more resist.
You definitely have options if you’ve been playing 8.3
Corrupted gear is 100% RNG and for those of us who aren’t raiding all the time, we have fun with the corruptions we DO get.

Raiding doesn’t even give corruption 95% of the time. I think I’ve gotten 1 corruption proc this tier from raiding after 100+ boss kills. You get 5 460+ guaranteed corruption every week. 3 from visions and the 2 weekly chests. That’s where all my corruption is from.
