There is currently an exploit taking place with an infinitely-spawning Rich Bismuth node at the Livia’s Patience section of Hallowfall, which is at the southern area of the map, right on the border of Azj’kahet.
It’s in that little town with all the Nerubian mobs. There’s a building there, and from what I’ve seen of the bots exploiting the glitch, if someone runs into the entrance to the building and runs out again, the node just stays there endlessly, leaving all the rest of the bots to endlessly spam loot it. As I type this, I’m watching a group of about 8 of them with a neverending castbar of “mining”.
The node itself is right on the outside corner of the building, on the southeast side. The building is a warehouse-type building which is located closest to the 2 airship docks.
All the bots are members of the same guild, named “luckies”, which consists of Horde members from Illidan and Tichondrius, so probably Chinese farmers.
EDIT: I tried mining the node myself and what happens is that when you mine it, you don’t get any ore from it, so it doesn’t despawn. What the exploiters are doing is abusing the mining talent that gives Rich nodes a chance to spawn an extra smaller node. So basically, all 8 of them spam-click on the Rich node, and since it doesn’t ever despawn, they create an endless amount of the free proc small Bismuth nodes, which they loot. An endless mining node.

Saw them again on same servers but a different guild last night. I was killing them. They had people defending the group of bots cause I was killing them all. I formed a raid group to keep wiping them. Then they left and probably went to a different zone. I reported about 20 of them.

Reported these guys last week, they were on Alliance characters then.
Today they are on horde characters. An unlimited amount of ore.

Oh, cool, so this is already reported.
It seems that this node is not in all realms. I tried 3 realms. The node is not there, fortunately. The strange thing is that it is in 1 realm.
is it still there? Ore price is going back up this week. Thought it might have been fixed
I just passed by there and saw several people using the bug. At the time I thought it was an explosive mine, but they stayed there for quite a while. coords 37, 81 Hallowfall
What surprises me since started talking about that node is that I have passed by the place in 3 realms, Area52, Ragnaros and Drakkari and the node is not there. I don’t know what realm it is or was in.

Checked again today. Way less people than it used to be, especially when I turn off war mode. I think how it works is they get on a toy, like Sandbox Storm Gryphy, and then a Rich node appears. If you are not on the toy, you see nothing.
I whispered a guy and he said it is fixed. Not sure if it is accurate but I do see some people still trying, but much less.

Seeing a bunch of bots using this exploit around Isle of Dorn (now that the map is basically empty) on Stormrage. And it seems they don’t use it only with ores but also with herbs too
Reported a bunch of people exploiting a bismuth seam. Spam mining and cancelling right before it ends to infinitely spawn chunks of ores for minutes on end. I am not going to mine it away else I might be caught in the crossfire but this is disgusting please fix.

Saw this and I was wondering where did I miss an item or so that would allow me to do that.
Guessed it was a bug after all.
I did mine all of these around me when they were breaking these nodes somehow.
