Inferno Dungeons when everyone isn't full bis

This thread proves people don’t understand looting systems at all anymore. just do normals to gear up and buy epics with justice points, then do firelands normal for 378 and then go into infernal dungeons and pick up some strong remaining 372.

Reading a guide and watching a video are VERY different to actually performing mechanics, especially when you have to also focus on doing your rotation alongside it. Sometimes it takes a couple of goes to get it.

You act like you have never messed up a mechanic, and that is the problem with all of you Classic Andys on here that think they are good (but are actually pretty bad). You forget what it was like to actually learn these fights.

People make mistakes, it happens. Being toxic is not necessary. It is unfortunate, but people like yourself are the reason the WoW community has gone completely down the toilet. Get a grip, it is only a game.

Lol pugs are actually requiring 370+ ilvl to enter Firelands now. Because the inferno loot. These new H+ dungeons catch up was a horrible design.

So you’re saying blizzard didnt understand the catchup systems they already put into the game, and accidentely ended up gatekeeping their own playerbase? If these infernal dungeons didnt exist people would be asking for 360 plus.

First off this catch up system was NOT NEEDED!!! People have had 6 months to do the content and get ready for Firelands. If they where not able to clear normal and get the normal gear in that time frame they have knowbody to blame but themself.

But by blizz adding 372 loot to a vendor locked behind the laziest Heroic + dungeons that just gave damage sponges. Then allowing 346 ilvl people to join.

This made it so people who actually full cleared Normal T11 and had an ilvl of 360 have access to 372 gear (which isn’t needed for clearing Normal) Now Pugs are requiring people to be almost full BiS Heroic T11 to enter Normal T12 raids. This really backfired on them.

we need these dungeons to drop level appropriate gear. why tf is the same as heroics

Because the WoTLK+ didn’t drop the normal heroic loot and it caused a dream shard shortage. Which caused Dream shards to cost more than crystals.

Also WoTLK raids had a bigger loot table then Cata raids.

Must just be your realm doing this because I haven’t seen this on Whitemane.

That could be. I don’t play on whitemane so I can’t compare. I can only say what I have personally seen on my server.

Your rotation should be doable to 90% efficiency without even looking at it.

I’d argue it’s people like you, who make excuses instead of getting better

What a trash take. I guess screw everyone who chose to take a break, was forced to due to RL circumstances, new players who are excited to try a part of the game they may have missed originally (or just brand new players who didn’t choose retail), or players who by choice or necessity have main-swapped and don’t want to be a burden to their guild? Make the game unfriendly to new/returning players and alts, then whinge that server pops are down and that the game isn’t being supported adequately cause the money’s not there, very smart.

The idea that literally every person should have prioritized their life over the last 6 months to get P1 BiS so they’re not an inconvenience to the P1 BiS crowd in a 5 man catch-up system that is badly tuned for its purpose is wild.

Second half I partially agree though, it’s lazy design and incorrectly tuned, but it’s not because they made it 346ilvl entry. Its purpose is clearly to remove the need to raid P1 content, so if they don’t have 346 entry then what, you have to WoW token/RMT your way into BoEs and spend an obligatory month doing Molten Front just for permission to do the content that existing players are doing cause standard Heroics and ZA/ZG + JP only get you so far?

It should either be 25% damage/50% HP(at most) and keep its current ilvl req, or stay as it is but increase the ilvl req to at least 359 or something (which then defeats the purpose since the goal of catch-up gearing is obviously to remove the need to raid the previous tier of content). As it is, it’s hurting everyone who has a need to use it.

Also re; the Dream Shard drought, they could have just added 359/372 gear on TOP of the existing 346 drops if they really wanted to prevent a shortage while making the actual dungeon bosses still directly provide loot, but that was likely too much work.

TLDR Giant wall of text after the first sentence you sound like an entitled child. Just because people make the choice to stop playing. Why should they be rewarded for doing so?

There’s an empty bridge with your name plastered on it.

Waaaah Blizz won’t gatekeep adequately for meeeee

But yeah I’m entitled lmao

Enjoy your vacation

For what, exactly?

Yeah, that’s what I thought.

I dont think anyone cares

yeah the minimum ilvl should be higher than 346 for sure.

The minimum iLvl is irrelevant when players don’t need to actually be wearing the gear to get in.

The ilvl requirements are fine, what should be changed is the fact that the dungeons should be dropping 359 ilvl gear at the minimum.

You’re doing dungeons for a currency that buys 372 gear but the bosses who drop that catch up currency still drop 346 ilvl gear.

At least then the people who are minimum ilvl to join the runs are actually getting upgrades while they save their currency.

They aren’t getting upgrades from beating the bosses because they drop the same ilvl as the requirement to join.

It would also make the grind feel better since currently your only rewards are the new currency and valor.

Do idk 6 dungeons for the fragments but the 24 bosses you killed dropped a total of 0 upgrades in the process.
