How do you all use it, and when? Every time i use it i get all turned around and have to waste time righting myself to the target. This is during mostly solo rares, and bosses. Any tips appreciated.

With Vengeance Kyrian, I never use it except to move. I am focusing on Immolation Aura, Elysian Decree, +/- Spirit Bomb (if you use that), and keeping that all going.
If you are using it offensively (so you can pop Sigil of Flame), then cast it 2 inches in front of yourself so you don’t get confused.

Thanks!! I will use it as advised. I have stopped using it and concentrating on using IA/ED and SP, along with my melee.

As mentioned, if you talent into it (for some reason) I would recommend a key bind to /cast [@player] Infernal Strike. It will just cast it where you’re standing. Use a separate bind to use it to move around. DH certainly has the key space.

What talent build do you think would giuve me the best DPS and Survivability ? You also mentioned specing into Infernal strike? I do not see where this another option.

The reference about speccing into infernal strike was in regards to abyssal strike in the 15 row. It creates a sigil of flame where you land. That said, it’s no longer the standard or recommended talent on that row (disclaimer: you can run pretty much any talent you want until you get into higher/harder content, i.e. mythic raiding and high mythic + keys), but there are still recommended talents which most people run because they sim/perform better. The standard right now is:

This is the current standard unless you’re running higher keys and need more defensives from the fiery brand build. The writer of the Wowhead guide does a good job of keeping it up to date. I would also recommend joining the felhammer discord for real discussions about Veng (once you’ve gotten the basics down).

So this is an honest question are we still the kite tank? Or can we just stand and take hits.
Reason I am asking is I do not like the kite meta for tanking actually hate it. Tanks are supposed to take hits not run mobs around but this is just my opinion. I know my gear isnt the best but I got 3 classes I am looking at tanking on and DH is one. So this is why I am asking.
