Can we please get these back please? I know it sounds stupid and its probably an insignificant thing, but I really really loved my infernal pet.
I mean we play for fun at the end of the day and that pet was extremely fun to have around. I loved it. It was 99% of the reason I chose to main a Warlock in Legion. Sounds stupid, I know.
On one hand I get why they’re not permanent anymore. Blizz always wanted them as bigger, beefier demons on a CD so they felt “powerful”. Not your average demon summon, ya know.
On the other hand…I do miss having them permanently running around too. >.>

I wish we could just enslave whatever demon models we wanted. If I could, I would have almost all of my demons be the demon models from TBC. Abyssal/terrorguard especially.
Also give back infernal/doomguard for all specs. I don’t know if I would want them to be permanent though.

Doom guards, infernal, and especially the Fel Guard are guilty of completely removing any choice from your character. I like each pet having a purpose and a reason to see an imp, void, fel pup, or succubus our.
Considering since 8.2 hit my Wrathguard is completely worthless, dies every thirty seconds and his taunt doesn’t work 90% of the time, I would relish having a useful demon again.
In arena, the fel pup was good because you got an interupt but the succubus was also a very good option.
I found that during Legion when I had to do a quest and kill a hard mob I did pull out my void walker and it was better than the Infernal on single target tanking.
Imps were literally the best for any dungeon/raid as far as I know, I think the other pets were good in some mythic situations but I only heard about that.
The only thing infernals were good for were running old dungeons, rounding up mobs and burning them down in wqs, and questing in general.
All of the other pets were useful as well. Infernals gone actually has me NEEDING them again. I still use my other pets for different situations.
Warlock pet versatility wasn’t bad in Legion at all, it was better.
It’d be nice if we could have a wider variety of demon skins on a mechanical framework.
The infernal and doomguard were essentially super voidwalkers and imps.

Why are so many people complaining about their non-existant felguard/wrathguard taunt working poorly? The only warlock pet with a taunt is the blueberry.
OT: yes bring them back and make them exclusive property of Demonology spec so Demonology can have pet choice again and also feel like they are better at summoning demons a little more.
You would think 15 years into the summoning demon game we’d be dealing with even more powerful beings instead of losing old ones to a 3 min cd.

They were so annoying and obnoxious
They’re much better suited as cooldowns

for raiding it was always imp but for mythic + dungeons the infernal was best I think.
I don’t F* with mythic + bullsheet these days so for me the infernal being available is amazing. I get why people wouldn’t want to be forced to use a giant pet.
I have one solution. Offer a skin for the bigger pets as a type of smaller demon for an alternative appearance.
Easy fix there for everyone.
That would be cool. I didn’t hate their utility, I just hated their obnoxious size. I don’t need a building following me all the time lol
I remember hunters used to be able to get giant pets of different sizes. They miss that a lot.
I think Blizzard is maybe trying to either cater to people like you, who for good reasons don’t want a giant following them, and for the clutter you see around player gatherings in general. Whether that be for raids, pvp, or hanging around city/hubs.
