I have to apologize for calling the language âweirdâ but i cannot really understand much when they send me this whisper at the start âperkenalkan nama saya rizal, saya berasal dari indonesia, senang berkenalan dengan andaâ then they move onto being rude with me in a broken english threatening me that they reported me with all their friends after i tell them that i do not understand their language and that i do not want to leave the farming spot.
It seems that they have somehow monopolized the area at the KilâJaeden Throne since there was no consequence whatsoever knowing that they can threaten and report anyone while also coming with numbers to camp any of the spawn points to discourage other players from farming there.
I was able to gather quite a few screenshots today with the threatening whispers that i have once again received and will make a new ticket hoping that something will be done about this.
By the way, i am not one of those that decided to bandwagon to FFXIV but instead i have continued to stay because i like TBC as expansion and i am very much excited to hopefully clear SSC +TK ( iâve heard that Kaelâthas Sunstrider will give us a huge repair bill ) once phase two arrives but for that i need to play the game and i need to prepare accordingly.

This is a ridiculous argument. A better analogy would be to compare it to victimless crimes, like smoking pot or prostitution. Sometimes criminalizing and then enforcing and punishing the crime creates more problems than the crime itself. It would be a long post to explain how criminalization of pot and prostitution creates massive societal problems worse than the actual problem of prostitution and drug abuse but if youâve done any serious study of the issue you know what Iâm talking about

Thatâs good that you took the screenshots and further reported them. I donât care who it is or what language they speak, them saying they will get you banned etc just for being there is an (in-game) threat which makes you and others uncomfortable so you reporting them for that is the right thing to do.
Even mentioning anything about country of origin or language often leads to hostility on this forum in general. I made mistake once saying something that I thought was pretty innocent and I did not mean to be negative and people got upset, so that can happen.
The core of your concerns of them threatening you in the game are valid no matter who they are. We had some English-speaking USA citizens threatening on my server during the AQ stuff and I reported them too.

Mass reporting doesnât do anything significant, so long as the one being reported isnât breaking any rules. The worst they could do is apply a squelch that a GM will remove.
