Hello, How do I separate the individual achievements for each of my characters?
That is no longer an option, almost certainly because breaking up the achieves that can be done with any character contributing is nigh impossible.
When that screws up my gameplay drastically.
Will have to rethink playing this game.
Can always use the Suggestion Box to have them bring this feature back.
Sound like a good idea, but I would bet a winning lottery ticket that they will not change it.
Well good luck whatever you decide.
You can still do all the quests with every character.
And if you look at the achives a good number of them count for your total, but are listed by character.
For instance, Alterac Valley victory is Earned by my Warband. It is Completed by Lorethon here. But if I made a new character that character could still earn it. While the points are added to the warband total, the new achieve would show it being completed by another character, such as Lorethon here, until they win that BG.
Have fun!
It should be, if in the Warband, the achievements all blur together, but if a character is outside the Warband, it should only show individual achievement points. That way it can be optional.
There is no “outside the Warband”. All characters on your WoW license are part of the Warband. Please do not mistake those favorited groups on the character select screen as a Warband. They are merely there for you to sort your characters.
Oh ok, then they should make it so those outside the “favored group” show only their individual achievements and those inside the “favored group” blur together.
But the favorited groups are merely a listing of characters. You can pull them in and out of a favorited group at will. There would be no way for the achievement system to function within those parameters.
For instance, this is how I currently have my character list sorted. I currently have 57 characters on this license. Those groups change as my alts change what they are doing or level up to 80. There is absolutely no way achievements could be changed to keep up with a player moving a character into or out of a favorited group.
Well, then, the answer is for me to only have one character. That way, all achievement point stay with that character. This means me purchasing an entirely new account and starting all over again is in order.
Anyway, thanks for the information and now to get out the wallet and start this all over again.
If the goal is to do this as a fresh slate, then that will mean an entirely new Battle Net account with that WoW license.

You will start over with absolutely nothing earned then (no achievements, no pets, no mounts, no titles, no transmog, no toys, etc.).
Exactly.
I was glad they finally merged the points. All of my characters are me.
I get that. I just like to keep track of who did what, but I’ve accepted it. Options would have been nice, but it is what it is. I’m not going to start a new account.
You can hover mouse over the achievement points to see who earned what. It takes about 15-Minutes to easily identify ones not done on your main, and there are also several addon that only show ones done by your character. However, 99% of Achievements are now Account Wide except for Feats of Strength so I do not understand the reason you would need to separate and explaining what exactly you want to do would help community be better able to answer your question.
