Indestructible is pointless, how about:

If indestructible rolls on a weapon, it does an extra bit of damage (it’s edge never dulls!) Even if it’s a very small amount, like 1% more overall dps on the weapon, it would still feel less bad.

If it rolls on armor, it has 1 or 2% more armor value. (it’s just built tougher!)

Because boy howdy it’s kind of depressing to see that “Item upgraded!” thing and…womp womp, worthless indestructible. Leech is great. Can never go wrong with it. Avoidance is nice too. just a little peace of mind. and speed is never bad either, being able to dodge is just as valuable as being able to take a hit. But indestructible is utterly worthless. “oh boy, i save a few gold…whee…”

As a blacksmith I don’t even get to save good cuz I’ve been repairing my gear for free all xpac

It basically rolls nothing for me

As a blacksmith I keep forgetting about the master’s hammer.

I’ve always wanted to farm up a full set of crappy but indestructible gear and spend a day wiping pugs left and right.

Before my WA thing broke, was over 35k saved so far

Pretty good

How about this:
Remove repairing gear as a whole which would include the removal of Indestructible.

Of all the RPG elements WoW has removed, I don’t understand why gear durability still remains. It offers nothing.

1% damage is insane. No thanks.

A 1% dps increase on a weapon would be an advantage significant enough that it would make it almost mandatory.

I like indestructible because it reminds me of me

I am indestructible

So now we’re back to the fiascos of Titanforging…

I understand it can be exciting to see something proc this new indestructible in the short term. But it doesn’t take long before it starts to feel bad to not have items proc with that indestructible, and even creates situations where players feel the need to keep farming the same item until it procs with indestructible.

It’s a tertiary stat, it’s not supposed to be good, you’re not supposed to target it or optimize towards it. It’s a simple lucky bonus that doesn’t really make it necessary but is nice when you get it.

saves you alot more gold than you give it credit for

Agreed, it’s a pointless thing to have and just means that you have to carry auto hammers with you or be an engineer.

Every other tertiary stat is good though.

Indestructible is worthless.

Only change I’d make is that indestructible is a property independent from the rest, so you getting it isn’t at the expense of another stat.

I have to assume you’re talking about Leech and Avoidance, because Speed is more useless than Indestructible, and the amount of benefit you actually get from Leech and Avoidance are negligible at best.

None of these stats will make or break any content you do, they all have places where they are more or less useful. Again, they’re tertiary stats, they’re not meant to be something you strive to get.

Gee not being able to pay 500 gold on repairs is a bad thing? I actually want indestructible on gear that way I don’t have to shell out 500+ of gold on repairs. I think saving money is a good thing?

Song of the Anvil buff is awesome too

Grab it from WoD forge Harrison building with a follower. Lasts 4 hours and, if you don’t die, your gear never degrades.

Maybe give it a thorns like quality. Deals damage back to attacker, give it an ICD to prevent it from being too OP.

I agree it’s a pretty underwhelming tertiary.

Id probably do something like where avoidance is aoe damage mitigation I would add direct damage tertiaries that reduces direct physical or magic damage. That way if it’s a season with a big focus on bleed damage or casters, etc you had a way to help arm against it. Or if a tank does poorly like one vs the other it would help there.

Just remove it, there by making sure if we get a tertiary upgrade, its really an upgrade.

Repairing is the biggest recurring gold sink the entire game. Its existence is incredibly important to the overall economy.
