Incursions should be a daily or weekly thing

I think its pretty broken that people can just spam these for huge exp gains and even with the upcoming nerfs to it, Im pretty sure the ease and convenience of them will still have players continue to spam this content to max level.

I believe Nightmare Incursions should be either a daily or big weekly event that a player can do a finite number of quests; with the premise being that you can only do a specific mission once per day.

Now I get that this is being on a seasonal server but if the goal is to spread players to do all sort of content then you need to restrict how much a player can do a specific thing; especially if its too much of a good source of reward.

I agree. Or perhaps even one-off quests. Then it would be fine if they rewarded above average XP and Gold, since it’s just a little boost to get you through the slower levels.

If it wasn’t for Incursions everyone would be complaining like in Phase 2 that they can’t quest out in the open world because it is too crowded and how they are forced to dungeon grind.

You can do Incursions, Questing, and/or Dungeon Grinding to level. Instead of being forced into dungeon grinding like in Phase 2.

I mean I do find it fun. I like the idea of seeing so many players grouping together to do content but it is effectively killing the rest of the world due to how much of a reward it gives.

Im not sure what can be done but I dont think this kind of content is something that should be spammable. Same thing with dungeons imo. The game has more than enough ways for players to earn valuable exp and rewards at this point and I think limiting the spammablility of all of this content should be a discussion.

Phase 2 said otherwise. You either spammed SM to 40, or spend 30 mins to do a single quest because it was near impossible to quest with the zone way to full.

questing was an option?

For those with patience of iron of doing 1 quest every 30 mins, and thats why I said near impossible because someone will say “I quested to 40 at the start of Phase 2” otherwise.

I heard this was due to funky layering issues though. Either that or its probably a good idea to make the mob spawn dynamically increase based on players in a zone.

Oh it was really bad even after the 3-4 layering fixes. It wasn’t really possible to level by questing until 3 weeks after P2 launched.
