If I read things right, any 110+ can access Incursions, but with a big ONLY IF.
ONLY IF you have started the War Campaign in the active zone on the other faction’s continent. So at 112 you only have a 1/3 chance, at 114 2/3 and only at 118 are you able to access all 3.
Am I missing something or is it operating as intended?
I hope this isn’t true or it will be one more thing to add to the list of things BfA is inferior at to Legion.
Ok, now these were billed as either ALT catchup, or something your main can do at 120 from how i read it. So if your MAIN has done the 1/2 hour of quests to open the 3 opposite factions zones, you are golden. Also if your ALT wants the flight paths, all of them, buy the book for gold that opens them.
Seems easy enough to me. I would hope everyone has a “main” that has done the 1/2 hours worth of work to open up the 3 opposite factions zones?
Just saying, i never thought of them as something for my main to advance with, only my alts.
In a game as poor as BfA, where there’s little to no incentive to go to max level, this is a little unreasonable.
The only thing that I have to say is that flying around in that rocket shooting Alliance out of the air (I assume the same is true in reverse for the Alliance players) and dropping bombs on them is so unbelievably rewarding and fun and I don’t even have words for how much I enjoyed that part of it.
Also at the end, when you are done and take the rocket off the ship, you can control it. Up down left and right to fly it wherever you want until the timer expires and it goes away.

Again, i agree with you. I only ever did the ones in Legion on one of my mains if it gave decent gold and something to DE.
I hope Blitzkareeg is right, that just one alt needs to open up the zones, but I don’t think that is the case. I will know when the next incursion occurs because I only ran my 118 into Nazmir before it closed down.
The Honorbound vendor near the dhip HAD the maps that you buy to send to alts. They took them out earlier because there was a bug with them. They should be back in soon. So be patient. Alls you need to have done was open these flight points on your main. Heres from the patch notes.
“Account-bound maps to unlock many flight points on Kul Tiras and Zandalar can be purchased from the War Campaign emissary to send to your alts.”

Legion invasion assaults never gave either gold, nethershards, or gear to sub-110’s, only xp, order resources, and now wakening essences.

but anyways, these will give gold, 370 gear, and some other stuff. I might do a couple, but seeing the XP is only 25% of what a Legion invasion was for an alt, i will not be leveling an alt this way. I have leveled two alts doing mining and herbing only, and have gotten a level per hour or less with rested XP. With the new catch ups now, it will be even easier to gear up without doing a quest zone at all.
They give gold, gear, and other stuff to 110 characters. People who are using them to level alts (as is most common) do not get any of those things. I didn’t want people to think their leveling alts were going to get gold or gear, because they aren’t.
