Just dropped to my death from the alliance airship when the assault timer ran out. I realize that maybe I should have done it earlier or whatever, but you would think that blizzard would at least have the foresight to see this kind of thing happening and port people to the ground…C’mon guys get it together…

Sometimes I find it is good to read up on the new stuff because they might place some pertinent information there.
TIMING IS EVERYTHING
Faction Assaults will only be available for a set period of time before they are gone—at least until the next one. You’ll want to keep an eye on the Faction Assault timer, which is visible on your world map and will appear as a countdown in any quests you’re participating in as time winds down. Once an event has completed, any quests you’re on will be gone with it. You’ll want to be extra careful if you’re assaulting a ship hovering over the battlefield . . . you might suddenly find the only direction you can go is down.

You want an oversight, I did the Sound one and didn’t get credit for going on the griffon to get off the ship.
I wasn’t too mad or anything, sure other people will yell at blizz to fix it and plus I still got some of the WQs done, so that was nice.
In case of emergency, deploy glder.
(Or frantically search for the glider while plummeting to one’s doom because apparently using the same keybind on every alt would be just too organized)
