NetEase is a micro-transaction abomination. I’m not defending Microsoft. I know they nickle and dime people. But NetEase is really not a company that you’d want calling the shots. 
But that’s what I mean, though. They’re not going to be calling the shots…so it’s pointless to worry about it. Worst case is that the Blizzard/Microsoft bean counters choose to implement something similar to what they’re doing. Selling a pet that lets you teleport to 12 year old content isn’t really something that bothers me either way.

But he mentioned “Xiao Liu” (which someone else linked to) later on down in his post along with the teleportation aspect. “Xiao Liu” has also already been known for a bit.

That’s a good point. While we’ve had a few free Twitch/Prime/TP mounts they (CN WoW) have been more aggressive with their monetisation.
I usually to be a F2P game Andy back in my broke days and goodness some of those games have no chill. A paying player in another MMO I played (grand Fantasia) could have up to 5x the speed of progression while levelling. While not as crazy it feels their version is headed that way.

There two recolors of it that have Trading Post Tenders attached to them and they’re labeled as pets. But no teleporting with the substitutes.
