Before you guys get mad at the idea i think i may know a way that they can increase the level cap without making it feel like clearing naxx was pointless. All they have to do is make it so the only way to progress past 60 is to clear the hardest endgame raids somewhat like and achievement to work towards. Once those criteria are met the level to progress past 60 (to go from like 60-70) is made available to that character, that way endgame players to work so hard to get where they are don’t feel cheated out of their hard work to get where they are.

Gonna say no. max level should stay at 60.
keep it at 60, just add more raid tiers/dungeons if anything. adding levels just makes gearing pointless if u know its going to be completely obsolete in 3 levels
So what do you consider to be the hardest endgame raids? All the raids are level 60 raids from Molten Core and Onyxia to AQ40 and Naxx.
Achievements? Those weren’t introduced until The Burning Crusade.
By adding 10 levels, you HAVE to add more content else you are Just a 70 with 60 gear doing 60 content. What is challenging or even fun about that?
I say no to your idea. It simply makes no sense in any capacity.
Classic is already not the vanilla experience people were looking for. To add more to it that wasn’t even in any of the i.XX version makes it less than classic or vanilla or even TBC.
I feel like this is what they meant when they said, “You think you do but you don’t.” I keep hearing so many people saying add this or that or something else.
NO! By adding ANYTHING else makes it less than vanilla.

by adding anything it makes it less than vanilla? have you played old school runescape? it was literally the same idea as classic wow the difference is they had a community decide if there should be new content added through a polling system. If they do the same thing with classic wow i think it can make for a greater game. level cap aside i still wish to see new content added to classic.
Vertical gear progress and increasing the LEVEL-CAP was exactly what killed WOW-VANILLA and FFXI LV75.
Lv60 should stay there always no matter if they released 10 classic + expansions
no thank you. I don’t trust this community to not screw up our masterpiece. people are already asking for a dungeon system that groups players(not auto zone or teleport) and don’t understand why it’s a bad idea.
everyone just be cool with classic, or return back to retail and enjoy the QoL fixes they’re asking for.
Upon reaching level 60, a character should get 20 hours more of /played time and then be auto-deleted by the system.
If only they had increased the game difficulty by 20%, we would have a much longer game life.
Maybe we should follow Dark Souls style, upon finishing all raids, player go to a new world classic+1, where all mob hp and dmg increase 50%
And the +2, +3 etc…

Increasing the level cap is the way that MMORPGs reset their games. Hard pass here.
To be honest all i ever dreamed about having back was old class builds i dont care how much new stuff is implemented even if i find myself fully geared at the previous level cap. As long as the builds and talent trees stay i will always come back to classic. But i do understand the frustration maybe if they implemented an unbind and option to sell the newly obsolete equipment

its called tbc classic at level 60 you can’t level up and return later you need gear. There are quests which give gear, and pvp rep sells some good gear.
