Increasing FPS / Best Settings on a Macbook pro

Hi All,

I have a new MBPro 15in that I recently started playing WOW on. I know Macs aren’t great gaming machines. But wanted to see what settings I should tweak to maximize my FPS? Right now I’m at setting 5 and getting about 55FPS consistently.

My system is:

2.6GHZ - i7
16GM RAM
Radeon Pro 560X 4GB

Best chance is, dropping the 3 sliders (view distance, clutter, etc) down to 3 or so, those are pretty bad on FPS.

But 55 and 5 on that system sounds about right.

MBP15 Pro native screen resolution is 2880x1800, if you haven’t already, try lowering it to 1920x1080.

much better to lower it to 1440x900, as it will look cleaner.

True, since 2880x1800 is a multiple of two its better for scaling.

However, in my experience, that resolution is too low for modern WoW.
