I honestly have no idea how to go further from here.
I’m last place in my raid’s DPS and I don’t place high in norm pugs either.

I have no idea how I can fix this at all and its so frustrating, I hit around 33k per fight.

First thing, you have your chest set for frost, 3x Blaster Master is a must for fire. The heart of darkness is fine, and you should switch out the Heed My Call for Blood Siphon.

Second thing is your essences: You should have Memory of Lucid Dreams as your major, and never change it. Focusing Iris, Breath of The Dying, and Conflict and Strife, if you don’t have Conflict, swap that out for either Purification Protocol, or Crucible of Flame.

Third: Your bracers. The Hyperthread Wristwraps from Mechagon: Workshop are a must-have for fire.

Fourth: Your cloak. Rank 12 helps tremendously.

Fifth: Your trinkets: Psyche Shredder is fine, but the Void-Twisted Titanshard has got to go. Do you have any other trinket with Intellect on it, or an on-use Intellect? Use that instead.

Fire mages are reliant on their burst phase and getting the most out of it, because outside of your burst phase, you’re basically throwing wet noodles, unless you get a good chain of crits and procs.

Other than that, you can hope on getting the right corruptions, and head over to RaidBots to sim your stat weights; and to sim your usable gear in bags, you’ll need to download the SimulationCraft addon to import the string into RaidBots.

If you’re only hitting 33k per fight, I think it has to come down to a basic misunderstanding of how your burst phase works. So much of our damage is dependent on that short window that if you are doing that wrong, your total damage will be abysmal.

Are you trying to do the Wristwraps burst play style or just Fire in general?

Just go frost. Stack mastery to the max, forget ice lancing, just spam frostbolt for glacier and shatter it with flurry. You will never be bottom dps. Maybe not always top either but will never be bottom lol. I dislike fire gimmick. For me and my household, it’s path of Jaina Proudmoore all the way…;p

Frost is definitely easier but no one should ever be discouraged from trying to improve.

I mean Fire only works if you have the following:

  1. Mechagon WS Bracer
  2. 3x Blaster Master
  3. Memory of Lucid Dreams (rank 3 optimally)
    Optionally:
    You should also stack mastery corruptions.
    Since your gear is not optimal yet, I think you should stick with Frost until you get all the necessary gears.
