Increasing Anima Rewards from Dungeons and Raid Bosses

Well for Mythic and Raiders. What about us who don’t do either of those?

Running Normal isn’t actually too bad especially the first few bosses. But for those that don’t raid I suggested upgrades from covenant upgrades and their tiers you spend to upgrade could be looked at. Perhaps an option to unlock anima flow tier 2 and increase anima rewards from treasures, elite kills, etc that kind of thing?

This is a step in the right direction and close to where it should be IMO, should be a little higher. As someone who has grinded out many of the cosmetics already I think asking for 250 per boss is pretty absurd.

You think you should get 1250 anima for plowing through a Mythic 0 in 10-15 minutes? Yeah no.

They listened! Enjoy your anima! /sarcasm off

Now make WQ Anima rewards scale properly with the Renown WQ ilvl increases.

It has zero impact on people who run keys and raid as well.
Anima is a pointless resource.
This change has zero effect on anything to do with what is wrong currently.
The only thing you can spend anima on are non progression appearance/flavor content that is itself, not rewarding in the slightest.

How about we bring loot back to some sort of sanity, I have looted 2 items myself that are upgrades, everything else has been handed to me when other receive duplicates because that’s thus far what this system has done. The vault is a joke, giving duplicates week after week that I have to vendor.

The only reliable way to receive loot is to grind and insane amount of PVP, which is not fun for the vast majority of people who play wow. Especially when combined with the time investment of preparing and doing PVE content.

Whoever came up with this crackpot idea that “giving less loot is more enjoyable” should cut their pay by 40% and see how enjoyable it is.

The problem is with my gear - which TBF is not total SUCKAGE - I get 99 declines before I get an accept to a Mythic 0! Well maybe 9-1 or 19-1 anyway.

I’d rather not spend an hour just trying to pug a mythic 0.

I am glad they are adding anima for those who run mythics and raids. I am just saying add some to the callings or random heroics.

I have just been rejected from a few Mythic 0’s…

sigh

Why is anima a pointless resource? Just a genuine question.

Anima has been implemented terribly and this addition is next to nothing.

And just like that the casuals are forced to start buying runs again. Thanks for making the problems worse. Cutting off your own nose just to spite your face.

Which level of the raid awards anima?

Is it Mythic? Normal? LFR?
I hope its LFR because as of right now there is literally no reason for somebody to run LFR after the first time once they’ve maxed their cov gear.

This is the best, most detailed rant bout why anima pacing is completely off. Please read his full post.

It is a pointless resource to a no life tryhard whose sole focus is on power progression. To the vast majority of the playerbase, we see a sanctum full of upgrades to unlock that legit take weeks if not months to save up the anima from the literal trickle we are at.

It is fully expected to go up in the future…it just sucks to feel like sanctum progress is so slow and that every missed anima WQ is a legit loss…and no, I don’t see casually running 7’s or 10’s as a viable farming way.

Like I said, I’d much rather see them add anima to Torghast…maybe convert unused phantasma so offer a risk vs reward playstyle for earning it but never spending it on powers or using the legendary to earn more over your “power” one and to offer additional incentives to run Torghast past your soul ash missions.

Here’s a crazy idea, put anima drops on Torghast bosses, and not a measly 35 either. Maybe 3-5 rare anima nodes, or a epic anima node for 250. It might make Torghast a more appealing place to run since there will actually be a grindable reward in there.

Now if you can add a pve gear vendor we might be getting somewhere.

A welcome change and a step in the right direction.
Now please do the same for world quests.

It’s not sad when you consider that M+ Dungeons are a horribly unfun system and we need to wind them down.

The MDI is boring
The M+ concept has lead to boring dungeons
It completely favors classes ahead by 1% making balancing much harder
People spend too much time in the LFG queue

Should be at least 250. That’s the equivalent to winning a rated battleground which is roughly the same amount of effort.

Big Wow this is worthless energy.
