Lately I have noticed an excessive amount of input lag. This is not exclusive to the dragon isles. My world and home latency as 32ms/21ms and are not spiking. My internet speeds at home are consistent and well above the recommended.
Hello? Anyone else fixed this?
I’m struggling with the exact same thing. I made a post on reddit and dozens of people report the same. Its unplayable at this point I’m bricking +20 keys because of it. Honestly with the raid disband issues I think blizzards servers are having issues and they’re not addressing it with us whatsoever.
have you gotten the thing where you press to heal and it never happens, then suddenly a person gets all the heals at once if they dont die yet?>
There’s definitely increased input lag since the Dragonflight pre-patch.
When playing a hunter, you usually want to aim your disengages by jumping in the air and turning your camera in the direction you want to fly to. If you want to disengage forward, you’d quickly spin your camera 180 degrees.
Ever since the prepatch, it’s as if the client doesn’t register your camera quickly enough. If you try to quickly spin the camera and hit your disengage keybind, you’ll wind up jumping in a direction your camera wasn’t even facing.
I’ve been playing hunter at a gladiator level since Wrath. I mastered how to instantly aim my disengages properly like 15 years ago. Since the prepatch though, I can’t instantly aim them accurately anymore. To disengage in the desired direction, I have to purposely slow my camera motion and give it a chance to catch up before I hit my disengage keybind.
Really, really annoying, and honestly considering quitting the game over these performance issues. WoW was always good because the combat felt good. The combat is clunky as hell this expansion.
I’m getting the same thing it only happens when I use a ability bound to a key tho if I click the ability it goes off normally.
Same,
Game drags and feels like I’m playing underwater. Everything is delayed. I have a bit of an older CPU with new peripherals and tried a bunch of things to correct it to no avail.
I borrowed a friend’s PC with an r7 5800x and comparable GPU. Same issue exactly. His machine gets slightly better frame rates than mine but all the I put lag and stutters are present in exactly the same way. Graphic settings even down to 1 with nothing on has no effect. In fact, when running at over 150 fps the game still lags like crazy. It always feels slow in M+ and raid. My abilities proc maybe 30% slower than they should and it makes the game not fun to play.
I am thinking of upgrading my system but spending $1500 for MB CPU and RAM for the problem to persist is not a very attractive idea for one game.
Honestly, now considering un subbing because the enjoyment is quickly fading.
