Increase subs

I think that a lot of people are waiting for news on classic release before they resub. I have no desire to play retail, and only wanting to play classic. I would sub about a month early of release in case there was some sort of world event that happens before classic actually starts.
Just think of the $$$ blizzard would make with the increase in subs.

I have no idea why people are doing this myself. People were making posts during blizzcon talking about how they resubbed for classic.

I’m just hoping that classic gets released in 2 months or less. They said summer so my guess is in May/June?

Just incase a crash on paying for sub or slow download speeds. Imagine a few million trying to sub and download the client on the same day.

I’m not even planning to sub on release. I’m going to wait until starting zone sharding is out of the way.

I’d be more willing to pay for a “pre-order only Deluxe Edition” than pay for game time I won’t get any benefit for. If they do this, they could offer things like the original vanilla CE pets (whose models should exist) without connecting Retail and making them a status symbol of supporting WOW Classic.

No, the ability to access Retail is not a benefit. It’s a liability I should get refunded for. I haven’t even played their last two “free” weekends because there’s nothing I want to do that overrides my unwillingness to be part of a fake growth curve to show investors.

Well considering anyone can download the client without having a sub I think that is not going to be much of an issue.

They can just release the Classic patch to be downloadable few days before the launch and it will be just like a regular content patch but just somewhat larger.

If we get a firm release date confirmed, I’ll be re-subbing on the 1st of whatever month that happens to be, just so my sub will always renew on the 1st of the month. Works well with my budget and my OCD.

I am not playing retail haven’t for about 4 to 5 months now. Wife wants me to cut the payment. I am nervous I might miss something as being able to download early.

I’m still subbed because I just don’t want to go through typing out my credit card information again if release is just around the corner. Don’t want to be blindsided by that.

I check every week or two to see if there is any updates on classic release. I really lost all interest in playing retail as the last x-pac just seemed to kill me in interest.

Would like to see it launch in June but I know that is too soon for Blizz.
