It’s about time to increase the CoD limit when sending Mail. It’s currently locked at 10,000 Gold and I’m not sure how long that’s been the cap.
I run a battle pet leveling business and it’s annoying having to send 12+ pieces of mail with the 10,000 gold limit for CoD in order to get paid for my services.
Who else thought of the opening scene from Dumb & Dumber with the van that looks like a dog.
People pay you over 1m gold to level a pet? Dang that’s a nice hustle.

Actually people send me their pets via mail after reading my info sheet; When I’m done leveling them I send them back with a CoD. And I don’t charge 10k per pet, I charge half that. And you can’t trade all pets. Wild, Promotional, Achievement, and some Pet battle dungeon pets aren’t tradeable. I only deal with the ones that are. I’ve had several customers already whether you’d like to believe it or not.
I actually charge 5k per pet from 1-25. CoD is capped at 10,000 gold btw.

Uhh, so 10k x 12 is not over 1 mil.
It’s not a complaint; it’s a request to increase the amount you can request via CoD on Mail.
Seems like a good idea, I’ll personally never get to do that much but some will so yea, hope it gets raised
We don’t want you to skip using the AH for large purchase prices.
I’m not using it to sell items I’d normally put on the AH. I’m using it to run my pet leveling business.
People mail me their pets, I level them and send them back with a CoD so I can get paid for my service.
It’d be fine if the cap was 50,000 Gold so I wouldn’t have to send 12+ pieces of mail with 2 pets each with 10,000 gold CoD to various people just to make sure I get paid for my time spent leveling these pets for people.
They should make so you can sell your services on the AH. This is the better fix.
hahaha yeah I added an extra zero and read it as 100k instead of 10k - so 120k+ if they have to send 10k 12+ times. But he said he only charges 5k per pet so I don’t understand why he needs cap raised. Ah nvm I see he said people were sending multiple pets to him.
Cutting out the AH is actually a good plan - don’t have to worry about losing part of proceeds to AH fee.
The cap is probably there to save people from inadvertently sending all their gold to wrong person or maybe it had to do with gold sellers. Can’t hurt to ask.
I find it relaxing and enjoyable. A lot of people do. What were you trying to achieve by making that comment?
