Increase leeway range

I remember in classic (on a tauren warrior) There were times (when my ping was low) that I could hit hunters and other casters from up to 10yards a way (or thats the way it seemed anyways).

Everyone is complaining about them keeping the leeway mechanic, but I can’t be the only one who remembers leeway range being a little bigger? Maybe it’s because of our internet connections now being better, but either way I think they should increase it a little bit to account for that.

Apparently most of America was on dial-up while the rest of the world had already moved to broadband.

I don’t know what dialup means, but my wifi is really fast now.

The beta has a lot of issues but what I find most humorous is that the batching/leeway isn’t one of them. Those two mechanics throw many strats coined by private server heroes right out the window and force them to play the way people did 2004-2009, which they don’t like because they’re losing to people who played back then that they expected to stomp

The only missing ingredient for me is the wonky hit detection on grenades. There’s a reason they weren’t baseline abilities - they were even more awkward to use. Personally I’m not a fan of how they’re used in the BfA engine and pservers, but it could be worse, I guess

Leeway doesn’t change private server meta at all for the most part, did you even read my post? I want leeway increased, not the other way around.

It means that you used a telephone line and connected via a 28 kbps modem, maybe 56 kbps if they were really cool.

Your modern internet connection is the equivalent of a 102,400 kbps modem.

Most of the developed world today has far better internet than the states

USA! USA! USA!

Yessss let me kill hunters please from 10 yards away. They’re already broken enough, and now I’m going to get to roflstomp them even harder.
