I find myself alt tabbing out when using flight paths as they are so so so so SLOW. Like since dragon riding is multiple times faster, I’ll just do that more than not, getting frustrated as I should be able to use flight paths and they should be faster. They were always faster than manual flying till dragon riding was introduced. Flight paths were supposed to be time savers and are no longer anything but an excuse to go afk. Please increase flight path flight speed. Thank you.
that’s just not true lol FPs were always slower and always takes detours, scenic routes. Flying has always been faster.

Flight paths are for getting somewhere while you need to AFK.

Weird take - this has pretty much always been the opposite case for me. I often use them because dragonriding is too quick and I need some water or want to check my phone or something.
Flight paths stopped being time savers with the introduction of flying mounts.
For the vast majority of the game’s history, the primary purpose of flight paths was to get you somewhere automatically so you could do something else.
They’re 434% speed. So a bit faster than epic flying speed.
It’s not the speed, it’s the pathing that makes them feel longer.
No, they’re not slower. But yes, the pathing is what makes them take longer.
