Here are the facts:
- Server populations are higher than vanilla
- More importantly, raiding populations are significantly higher than they were in vanilla
- Many players derive enjoyment from using flasks in raids
- Black lotus scarcity is pricing players out of being able to flask as much as they want
Look, I’m a Hunter and an herbalist; I have no use for flasks and only benefit from higher prices on Black Lotus. Despite that, I still find it unacceptable that these are as scarce as they are. My friends and guildies are all impacted by this, and I don’t like seeing them deal with basically shelling out almost half the cost of an epic mount every week for their best consumable! This problem is only getting worse and will continue to snowball out of control until something is done about the spawn rates.
Any arguments about flasks not being required are entirely pointless. The fact remains that players want to flask, and keeping them from doing so is negatively impacting their enjoyment from the game. That’s just bad business. I really do wonder if Blizzard is okay with losing subs over something as trivial as increasing the availability of Black Lotus…

No, if you want to survive then dominate the ecosystem in which you exist. Don’t demand the apex predators the no lives, be lowered because you can’t be bothered to. In truth the online world belongs to those with the most time and skill for the most part.
I pay 220-240g per flask its only like 2-3 days of herbing casually.

Don’t worry, they won’t for long.

It’s funny that you think this is because of COVID - like they haven’t been there all along.

This is getting worse and worse. I farm enough to pay for these but Daen is right. All the spawns are camped and people are fixing the market.

Honestly I think just randomizing it’s spawn location would do wonders

Fix Black Lotus spawns Blizzard. If this was a way for you to ruin AV you’d be all over it, pretend it is.

Playerbase complains about raiding content being too easy
Playerbase also complains about not being able to flask every raid
Flasks have always been a rare thing not something you habitually buy every week because all you retail kids care about is parsing high. There is nothing in BWL that requires weekly flasking on numerous guild members and parsing isn’t supposed to be part of classic WoW at all so everything is working as intended, please feel free to go back to retail if you can’t handle it.

Luckily for us, you don’t get to decide what constitutes fun for the rest of us!

Luckily for Blizzard, you don’t get to decide what constitutes part of a 16 year old game.
No one is making you stay accept no changes or go back to retail and take your parsing nonsense with you.
You got to be a real 2-IQ troglodtye to believe that 200-300% player base with 100% resources is somehow “no changes”

I agree with Daen. The population of players has increased and certain resources have to be addressed in proportion to that growth. A very easy fix for Blizzard to satisfy a large portion of the player base.

Black Lotus prices hitting 150+ on the low end and the COVID queue are why i quit. They wont change it. People have been begging for months now and not even an acknowledgement from Blizzard.
Looks like someone was booted from a raid for not preforming …

Yes. Right. Totally.
The apex predator. The most feared apex predator of them all. The ultra masculine alpha male. The dude that gets all the chicks with basically no effort.
The unemploymed basement dwelling poopsock WoW nerd who still lives with his parents.
Yep. That’s the one.

Except I don’t pug and calling people out for feeling self-entitled to flasks just to parse high has nothing to do with me but nice try.
