That’s not a certainty. Priests can get both CCed if they are able to start casting Dominate Mind shortly after the Incorporeal becomes targetable. I was getting both on my disc priest yesterday pretty regularly in a halls.
There are more than enough times that you will have to stop casting to move out of something. Unless you are doing low keys movement is very often necessary.
I certainly agree the plan shouldn’t be that the priest gets every one and everyone else ignores their existence entirely. There are certainly times when any player without an instant cast CC would have to move or be mid-cast which would prevent them from getting to the first in time to also get the second. All I was saying is that the statement that it will never happen that a priest can get both is not accurate; there are times (even if it takes a stroke of luck) where the priest can get both before a cast gets off.
The key was a +17 HOI, so far from the highest keys being done this season but also not so low that mechanics can be totally ignored.
I guess I should of posted on my tank as that is who I was complaining about it happening with , but yes on my priest it’s less awful because I can do most of the CCing myself if the group ignores it
In 20+ keys, people (at least in keys I have been in) are doing really well getting the CC most of the time. You almost forget this affix exists when pugs work as a team.
