Inconsistent Scaling in Timewalking Raids vs. Dungeons

Hi Developers,

I’m reporting a bug affecting the Timewalking Campaign experience in old raids.

Context:
My friends and I are progressing through World of Warcraft using the Timewalking Campaign system to follow the entire story chronologically, starting from Outland. We completed all Hellfire Peninsula quests and dungeons and then moved on to Classic and Burning Crusade raids (e.g., Magtheridon’s Lair).

Issue:
When entering raids with level 30 characters, the scaling was completely broken. I was one-shotting every enemy without taking damage, while other party members with the same level and gear were dying in 2-3 hits. We tried removing gear, using different item levels (110, 140, etc.), but the issue persisted. Raids felt completely trivial or bugged. Dungeons, however, were well-scaled.

Notes:

  • All of us followed the Timewalking Campaign step by step, with no solo skipping or side content.
  • The imbalance only happens in raids — dungeons behave as expected.
  • This isn’t a perception issue. We tested with different builds and setups and confirmed the problem consistently.

Suggested Fix:
Please review the scaling system for old raids within the Timewalking Campaign and apply the same logic used for dungeons. Raids should offer appropriately challenging content for group play, especially within this narrative progression system.

It’s really frustrating trying to enjoy raid content with friends — which was the main reason we subscribed.

Extra Suggestion (optional):
It would be awesome if, when switching campaigns with Chromie, pre-expansion events or introductory cinematics were made available for legacy content. It would help bring more context and immersion for new or returning players.

Thanks for your attention!
