Inconsistent backend with atomic recalibrator toy

As an undead female wearing a combination of the darkshore warfront horde mog and the undead heritage armor, I accidentally walked across this toy in a raid and it turned me into a male mechagnome. It kept the female version of the undead heritage chest rather than swapping to the male version (:scream:), all the other pieces of heritage armor (race-specific) stayed the same, but all darkshore warfront transmog (which is faction-specific) was reverted to the appearance of the actual armor I was wearing instead (and not even the opposite faction’s appearance of the warfront mog). So, on the backend it doesn’t flag the change for the gender or race, but it does recognize the faction.

I don’t have an undead, but from my understanding, there isn’t a ā€œfemaleā€ or ā€œmaleā€ version of the heritage chest, but rather a chestplate and a vest. These appearances use the same model for both genders. Toys such as the atomic recalibrator that change your appearance do not change the items you are wearing, so it is not going to change from the vest to the chestplate based on your gender.

The warfront armor, being flagged as faction specific, will default to your natural armor if you no longer meet the faction appearance required to don that armor. Generally, heritage armors will also work this way, but the undead heritage armor appeances are not flagged as undead only.

So this is all intentional behavior.

Thanks for your response! I forgot the undead chests were for both genders. My brain is lagging today. :frowning:
