Incompatible servers

Reinstalled bnet app, in the middle of reinstalling game, hit ‘play’ as it became playable early in the reinstall same issue, assuming it’ll need to fully install before it has a shot of working.

Just wait until the download finishes. There is likely a hotfix after the download, making your client incompatible.

Appreciate it, it’s going along now.

Well, just finished install, still all incompatible. Could it be my addons?

Never mind, an update began right after the install. Cleared it up.

I’m having this issue too, but I was logged into the game playing. Logged out to change realms and all realms are incompatible. Wouldn’t let me log back into my toon. Closed game, relaunched, still incompatible. Changed from release to alfa and back on battlenet app, still incompatible. Uninstalled battlenet app and game reinstalled both still incompatible. Only thing I haven’t done it hit repair game but only cause it’s faded out on battlenet app and wont let me.

Send help! I raid in 2hrs :frowning:

im having the same problem now trying to fix it running fix game

I have re-installed the launcher and game, after deleting both directories. The install and update completed and I restarted the computer but I still get incompatible realms. how do I correct this?
Edit: this is the retail version.

I am still having the same problem, every time I try to log in I get booted before I can even get the realm list up. I have completley reinstalled the game and Bnet app and still nothing. Some help from a blue would be appreciated.

Suggestion: make sure Windows is up to date. (talking Winodws 10 here, can’t speak to 11)

It may seem odd, but I get this same issue when ever I have updates available/dowloaded, but haven’t rebooted for them to take affect & Blizz pushes a patch. That’s the reason for a lot of ‘reboot your computer’ suggestions.

If you have Windows set to notify you before updating & haven’t bothered with it for a while, give it a go.

Hey everyone!

If your Realm Selection menu is showing incompatible realms, this means that your local version of World of Warcraft does not match the live client version. It usually occurs – albeit rarely – after a game update or hotfix. Simply closing the game and then fully exiting the Battle.net Desktop App, and then restarting it, should prompt the game to update. If not, try these steps.

If the issue persists through reinstalling the Battle.net App or the game itself, this indicates that something is preventing the update. If you have an antivirus installed, it could mistakenly identify the Update Agent as a security threat if the antivirus is not fully up-to-date. More information on troubleshooting security applications can be found here.

Hopefully, this clears up any lingering issues. If not, please let us know here in this thread. Thank you!

I reinstalled the game as well as the launcher, everything worked after the game was reinstalled in full, but I had to wait for it to fully install, couldn’t hop in during, even though it said it was ready to play and install as I played. All things considered it worked out well, I hope the best for you all.
