I purchased the epic edition a couple weeks ago and finally decided to download the beta. For a couple days now all realms give the “Incompatible” error next to them. The similar thread I found from November mentioned test and beta tabs but I don’t have those.
That is the one I see but no test/beta tabs at the bottom. Those are the 4 servers and they all say incompatible
When you select Midnight Beta on the launcher, does your client version match the one displayed beneath the PLAY button in my first screenshot?
If yours is a lower version number, then you need to update the Beta client.
That must have been it because it worked first try today. There was no update available before because that is usually the problem and I checked. It must have updated over night. Thanks so much.
You’re welcome.
So I have everything you are showing there, even have the same Version for Midnight Beta (12.0.1.64914), I did pre-oeder the Epic edition. But when I ever I try to launch Midnight Beta or PTR, I get the message “The application encountered an unexpected error.”, which has the Report ID and gives you a chance to say what you were doing.
I can not get to the point of even seeing the servers.
The only way I can see the server names is to launch PTR 11.2.7, but goes test servers and I do have the beta tap. I click it and see the beta servers but they all so Incompatible, same as the test servers.
I have updated my video drivers, made sure PTR is up to date and confirmed my PC is compatible with Midnight requirments. I have also done a Scan and Repair, and I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the beta. None of which has worked.
I will also add that when I do launch PTR 11.2.7, and go to the Beta tab the background is still War With In, thought that is probably just cause it is launching from PTR 11.2.7.
Any thoughts?
I am not sure what could be causing the error message you are seeing.
Have you tried reinstalling Beta?
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and I have also tried scanning and repairing it as well.
I just uninstalled the beta and any PTR that was installed and then reinstalled the beta only and still got the “The application encountered an unexpected error.”. With code 215701C7-4BBC-4108-B2CE-7E3E0ACE9136.
Are you still getting the error after today’s Beta client update?
The current client version is: 12.01.65337
Yes, still getting the error after updated.
Battle.net updated to 12.0.1.65337 and got error code, B1D6DD04-19BF-465B-BEAD-93652938D00F.

@Elocin, this post is in the thread you mentioned.
Problem is likely Trend Micro Security as noted on all the crashes in the Error Reporting (tmmon64.dll).
Edit: If you want to perform further troubleshooting, please make a new thread so we don’t continue hijacking the OP’s thread.
