This means that while content will be unlocked progressively to allow for each raid tier to shine, systems such as class design, battleground mechanics, and stats on existing items will all be set to their final 1.12 conditions. That should take the pressure off players to be constantly figuring out what we might do next to remain exactly in line with how the game once played out, and we can all focus a little more on community building and enjoying the experience together.

Be prepared for the 1.5-1.8 fanatics to start raging on. It’s been like a month or so.

To be fair, I’m not complaining. It’s very entertaining.

It was obvious the dream was dead after the pvp content plan thread. Now the coffin is sealed and buried. No point in even talking about it…though surely some still will. I think their choice a terrible decision, but it is what it is.

I will say this: I don’t agree with Kaivax’s assertion that 1.12 is ‘the most polished state’ in all game features. In large part, yes. But specific to AV, no. It’s objectively the easiest, most convenient and (subjectively) most boring version. But again…it is what it is.
