Yea, it was a bandaid that never made sense. They traded managing mana pools with healing output and the end results feel the same. While I don’t mind the matches being shorter than they were in the past, mana management really added more depth to the mid brackets. Not that it doesn’t exist, but not in the way it used to.
Correct, its a dumpster because everyone is a hyrbid lol. It’s classic activision shenanighans. lmao. They come from a button mashing arcade background. This game has been going down hill ever since the merge/take over. Yikes. Sadness.
And they are nerfing alter in 11.1, ROFL. Okay, they might want to look at other parts of the game, instead of nerfing the only thing keeping mage teams alive against BM hunters late game 2s. If a BM hunter can’t beat you late game 2s, the mage team deserves to win, with full HP recovery with spells like alter. Come on, I am so upset with blizzard this expansion. Its comical.
The major outlying problem is when pure Dps specs have a lot of “on use” healing
Obviously having an auto Expel Harm or leech or the warlock thing (outside of Demo, that healing is way more) doesn’t really amount to much except negate people dying to literal trash dots that tick for 1% of ur hp
But on-use spells with instant big heals are problematic for healing
Sometimes its genuinely crazy how Fury warrior can do 5x the healing of something like a Moonkin just by pressing literal Dps rotation
