Hatred of Chromie aside the bronze dragonflight and everything related to them are pretty much my favorite thing in all of wow and I’m loving every second of their questline. But it got me thinking about how SICK it would be if we got an expansion based around them and jumping through different timelines like a better version of WoD. So I was wondering if this theoretical expac did happen what sort of crazy timelines you guys would like to see? Personally I want an AU where the humans had to invade Draenor instead of the other way around.

OP also lost me at Hatred of Chromie, she is the best dragon of them all and I will die on this hill.
As for bronze dragons in general, they are a very fun avenue to branch out and have silly AU versions of your characters, or to explore scenarios otherwise locked in the past. But time travel is a trope that must always be used with caution, lest you get rid of all the stakes in a story.

Chromie was fine before she was shoved in everywhere. Good things are best in moderation (even World of Warcraft!).
That being said, one of the Bronze dragons at a quest hub in Waking Shores comments about how they’ve had to super grow a plant in seventeen different timelines and our is by far the worst…and another one terrified that we’re starting an army like some Orc did.
Time travel is neat but can very, very quickly turn into a trainwreck. It needs to have exceedingly defined rules and stick hard to said rules otherwise we end up with some dumb Avengers Endgame time travel explanation. And any said expansion would have to be centralized around defeating the Infinite Flight and Murozond once and for all.
Likely we’d have to have Caverns of Time styled hub where everything is mashed together from ‘dead’ timelines and our questing campaign would need to be branched across these worlds that have run out their clocks, chasing the Infinite before they can kill our timeline.
It could work and could fix SO many problems with current lore (plus save Draenor it was too young to die like that). Retcon Shadowlands…
I’d buy 3 years worth of subs if they retcon’d shadowlands. And another 4 if they brought back Draenor.

OP gets their wish but its a curse wish and the whole expansion you are traveling around with Chromie across different timelines helping different alternate timeline Chromies stop the other Chromies from causing Chromie from Chromie when Chromie does Chromie.
