Incentivized raiding without GDKP

Your precious GDKPs aren’t coming back. But keep malding over it :+1:

Bro wrote an entire essay when the incentive already exists and it’s 1 word long:

Bindings

That’s a super duper long post just to say “Waaahhh, I wanna swipe my debit card again so I can get gear!”

You continue raiding until you get your BiS, and because you are having fun. If you aren’t having fun raiding, don’t do it?

I haven’t needed a drop from MC in over a month. My guild still runs it because 1) we need one more binding, and 2) because we have fun together and get joy out of seeing our guild mates get stronger.

Are you that guildie who gets BiS and stops playing/helping others? Or are you the pug who “doesn’t have time for a guild” and just wants to buy your gear?

Either way, glad I don’t have any guildies like you, or they’d be guildless pretty quick. No, you’re not getting GDKP back. You want participation trophy’s too?

Would be a good idea.

I mean you just described ERA realms in a nutshell. There is definitely a playerbase out there for those who want to stay stagnant in progression and do the same thing every week.

Sounds like a great idea for gdkp’s to return to sod.

There is also a player base that plays every week for the incentives. I’m not sure why the game needs to only appeal to one side.

Or just bring back gdkp’s and let players raid how they want with ingame currency.

Most of them quit sod or the game alltogether.

That’s why sod is down 80% of its playerbase since end of phase 1 when they banned gdkp.

Blizzard finally using one of my many great ideas.
