Server queue times are already out of hand. By 5:40 it’s closing in on 2 hour wait time.
Phases should be brought back as a real solution to the serves issues.

Has there been any talk about adding some capacity to certain high capacity servers in WoW Classic? I have several characters on Incedius and I am currently 1011 in the queue to log in. I was 3284 when I first attemted to sign in at around 6 pm. This is a rare time and it would be awesome to be able to accomodate more folks at a time when many many people are at home.
Blizzard would probably rather just make people pay to skip the queue.
my server queue is 66. wtf Blizzard. I deserve free money!
Whitemane is over 4 hours right now.

There are no queues at certain times of the day. It seems the queues are the worst for people who are coming home after working hours, and then logging in.
Not nearly as bad as at launch, though, but similar to what should be expected during new content release.
i dunno..this is pretty bad to me and it was tonight lol Not my queue but holy hell wtf is this crap!

Oh yeah, sorry I didn’t realize this thread was the Incendius - specific one. There is another thread talking about Faerlina as well. I have no historical reference for Incendius.
The queues on Faerlina right now are not even close to the 7+ hours queues we had at launch.

Ya but most of us avoided Faerlina for that reason to begin with we didn’t want a mega server or a streamer server at all. we kept waiting and they kept opening more servers and my friends finally picked this one and ti was amazing for a while. then blizz opened up xfers..and boom we got shafted. then the other servers got boned cuz imbalance happend and people were like OHH lets all go to Incendius and then the plague hit..and now its hell…

Yeah, if that’s the case, then it’s totally understandable. For those of us on Faerlina, I would say that mostly, we did want a megaserver, so the queue times are expected.
That’s the very reason why free transfers make me cringe a little. If Incendius is also one of the servers that was doing just fine before transfers, then that sucks (for Incendius), but it also doesn’t really serve as an example of “good things” that come from free server transfers (or server transfers in general - I’m not a proponent of them at all, for whatever that is worth).
Stalagg, Heartseeker, Skeram are all extremely imbalanced examples of what server transfers have given us as a community. I suppose, if what you’re saying about Incendius having been a great realm prior to the transfers, and now being a megaserver due to transfers, then we can add that to the list, unfortunately.
those servers are unbalanced because they came to MY server…the refugess are here now tahts why we have queues..they opened trasnfers in February and now in chat we all you see is TY SKERAM…

The only thing I can think of as a decent alternative is maybe offer free transfers off for original rolls, and guildmembers of OG Incendius members.
I can remember Heartseeker original rollers being disappointed (they started later, as it was a newer server - after launch) that suddenly level 60s transferred to their server, when their highest was in their mid 40s, and they had specifically rolled there to be on a lower pop server.
That was a small number of people though, and unfortunately not enough noise apparently to make a difference.
Do you mean layering? No thanks. It was much more harmful to the game.
with most of the county out of work and very few actually getting paid for it i doubt anyone is going to pay for anything right now other than food and a roof over their head. so Blizz better do something.
I also dont think that helps with gathering at all. right now trying to get mats for anything is ridiculous.
Then get worthwhile jobs, nubnubs. Programmers and software developers are free to work from home.
Its not just Incendius. I dont know if you noticed but ALOT of people are stuck at home right now. We had almost a 4hr queue last night…
But its temporary and they’re not going to make permanent changes to fix a temporary problem
