It’s pretty much what caused them to nerf echoing into doing no damage in SL, maybe not as extreme, but yes this is very reminiscent of season1 sub rogue gameplay.

That was so wild. You’d just cheap, press macro, evisc and they’d die 80-90% of the time if they didn’t have trinket or a break for the cheap.

IIRC, Echoing in sub S1 was blizzard being completely oblivious to the fact that their design for subtlety at the time involved subtlety having the ability to selfbuff with absurd amounts of damage modifiers. 30%? from Symbols, 30%? From Shadow Dance with talents, maybe some other damage modifier that I’m not remembering because I seem to think it was higher than 60%, on top of it being a combo builder so it benefitting from Shadow Blades now causing builders to deal 50% additional Shadow Damage, as well as being a guaranteed crit via Symbols as well as potentially being guaranteed crit via the Master Assassin legendary. Oh yes and the conduit that increased its damage by something absurd like 80% or so.
How much of that has carried over into DF? I haven’t bought the expansion yet.

Echoing still benefits from its 80%+ prenerf damage increase conduit in DF? Or the 80% damage conduit was baked into echoing?
Can I see some actual numbers or modifiers?
That conduit is now a talent at 75%
I don’t see anything that DH, monk, spriest, lock and evoker have not already done.

There’s just a lot of % amps and they’ll have to redo reductions if anyone is to survive
I mean, is this even relevant to what makes a class “strong” or “overtuned”. This is a clear example of something objectively broken that will be patched in a few days. Similar to a glitch or exploit. And aren’t assass rogues being considered as A tier anyway? I thought locks, DH and evoker were higher.
