Inappropriate Names

Blizzard, I find inappropriate names all the time and I report them when I find them. Many names that are slang for sex acts and genitalia and yet nothing is ever done about it. Why have a reporting system if no actions are ever taken against these players.

I allow my kids to play this game and maybe I should reconsider this decision.

Please DO SOMETHING!!

I mean, you have to realize that a lot of adults play this game. If you don’t want your kids seeing that then turn off nameplates and turn off trade.

Why have a mechanism in place if it does nothing to handle this kind of situation.

“Online interactions not rated by the ESRB” and they do, in fact, ban for inappropriate names.

Also, as a parent (you not me sorry forgot to clarify that earlier I don’t have kids), it is 100% your responsibility to understand that regardless of what online game is played, it is up to you to monitor your child’s play activity / who is around them.

Report the name in game and allow the GM’s to do what they need to do. That’s all you can do.
