Not from what I remember. My 12 year old cousins and all their pals where ally while everyone I knew in RL that was 25+ played Horde. Obviously this was circumstantial, but seems consistent with all the people Iā€™ve asked over the yearsā€¦

In my 40man raid team there isnā€™t a single person under 25. I think most classic players are in there mid 20s to early 30s. But when I was a kid my first toon was an orc. Their races are more fantasy based. The older you get the more you learn to hate how the gear sits on their character models and donā€™t get me started on the horrendous major city designs and leveling zones

Alliance has more human players. Horde players are lizard bipedal scientist creatures and fairy ninjas that want to dominate a virtual environment as a test for their combined goal of global destruction.

And some vampires. But not the sparkle kind. These vampires are more like Brad Pitt & Tom Cruise.
