In the wake of all this... Welcome to World of Hello Kitty

No joke… This game is going to lose any kind of edge or classic fantasy theme it was previously clinging too. Welcome to World of Hello Kitty Island Adventure with swords and axes. All this drama is going to have a profound effect on things in-game that it has no business affecting. Its already happening… We’re on a sinking ship folks. I hope whoever is left likes their new sterile bubble gum WoW.

In no way do I condone what has happened or revealed over the past few days, but the repercussions will be felt in game. Just wait…

Blizzard has already been sterile since blizzard north left.

I’m gonna agree with meme guy. That’s one odd magic eight ball you’re shaking to tell the future with. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

It was sinking before Blizz’s gross mistreatment was brought to light.

They’ll purge any perceived form of “toxic masculinity” in the game to the point no heterosexual male with a spine will be able to play without laughing… The knee jerk reaction to this controversy is plain as day easy to predict.

Please take a break from the forums and go back to reading your Jordan Peterson books please.

The incel energy is off the charts in this thread.

We’ve all been playing Fisher Price’s My First MMO for years already.

? this happened when they added pandas to the game

Yeah.

The first thing I think about when someone says “World of Warcraft” is how edgy it is.

What’s with the ‘the sky is falling’ mentality? So many ‘this and this is going to happen, just watch!’, and it never does. I don’t understand this group acceptance of false promises.

I do not see any correlation or causation in OPs hypothesis.

Toxic masculinity doesn’t exist. It it also a sexist remark. Extremely sexist. Meant to demonize and demoralize . I don’t expect that term to be thrown around loosely in this game or by its employees. The female term for this too, I find unacceptable. If we have to talk about the environment being more “sensitive”.

Let’s have a reminder that people can be loud. People can have more confidence. (that doesn’t make them violent in all cases) Oh and I expect all representation of every different type of person in this video game. Even the opinionated ones, regardless of gender. Hey I know for a start… why don’t they listen to the forums for once and start off by making the Orcs not seem so depressed? (Durak) As for the women and discrimination I still don’t much attire to express myself freely. Rather it be more moderate dresses or not. I’d like the options as barely neither exist. Stop putting majority the female NPCs in full on heavy armor too. Or does Blizzard just support full on bullying on every spectrum? That people should be and will be judged and ridiculed by personality, attire and gender.

I mean I think the complete opposite of progression is going on here… and they have been most definitely sending the wrong messages. (Look at the environment it has created, inside the company and the negativity from the Customers.) Which I have stated for months also requesting a more positive message. So can we stop the message of hatred and division yet or…? We going to keep pretending their actions show the complete opposite of acceptance?

Blizzard gave in to the woke mob and hired woke employees and it consumed them. You reap what you sow.

How is a real life scandal going to change the theme of WoW?

I could understand it affecting content releases, or maybe delaying production, but why would the theme change?

You can see into the future?
Oh, no?
Then ssshhhhhh. You don’t know anything for sure, so ssshhhh.

Ironically, you have no idea how badly I want to play Hello Kitty Online. It’s no longer available.
